2011 Custom-Shop Guitars

Station Night Club/Donated Custom Guitar

This is a Noll Guitar Custom Shop orginal. We built it and donated it to the February 25, 2006 Phoenix Rising Event.

Phoenix Rising Concert

We'd like to thank the artist who signed our guitar! They were all really cool. The first picture is Twisted Sister's Dee Snyder. The second is Aaron Lewis, Dee and Mick Foley (WWE Hardcore Legend). The third shot is the stage with John Rich (Big and Rich). The final picture is Timothy Powell from VH-1 in his recording truck where I (Jimbo) got to hang out and watch the audio recording of the show.

Shop Strat

Here's some pics of our 'Shop Strat' that we use for demos. It has been refretted with 6105 frets, refinished Candy Apple Red, and wired with Jimbo's pat-pending 'Voodoo Switch'. We put a Fishman Powerbridge and a Powerchip in it so it can have acoustic sounds in mono or stereo with an onboard preamp. The mini-toggle selects electric, acoustic or both. The Pickups are Lindy Fralin Blues Specials, Smoothest strat tone ever! It has the Buzz Feiten tuning system and sports Sperzel locking gears. About $1,200.00 worth of mods on a $300.00 guitar but it shows what we can do with a decent axe to start with.

Fretless Mexi-Jazz Bass

Here's a Mexi-Jazz bass that we made fretless. We inlaid the fret slot with maple. It plays great and the Bartolinis sound awesome!

Honeybursy Strat

Here are some shots of a Honeyburst Strat we made. I love the flame maple top on swampash. Great finish!

2007 Custom-Shop Guitars

The National Dobro had a P-90 pickup and a Highlander piezo pickup put in with a custom preamp. Jimbo made the pickup cover and the control plate. The next was a headstock repair and refinish on a 68 Firebird I. The Jazzmaster was another custom guitar we built.
